CAT was set up in 2003 by Louise Chantal after ten years working as a producer and marketing consultant in theatre, including stints at the Soho Theatre + Writers' Centre, Pleasance Theatres and Actors Touring Company. CAT specializes in producing new writing and international companies.

Recent productions include: The Riot Group's First of the Firsts 2003 winner Pugilist Specialist (Edinburgh Festival, Soho Theatre and UK Tour) and The Riot Group's Victory at the Dirt Palace (London season and national tour 2003); Roadmovie by Nick Whitfield and Wes Williams (Edinburgh Festival 2002 and UK and Eire tour 2003); Silent Engine by Julian Garner (with Pentabus Theatre - Fringe First winner Edinburgh Festival 2002 and UK Tour) and a British Council tour in Israel of Theatre de l'Ange Fou's The Government Inspector.

The Riot Group's Pugilist Specialist opens at the 59E59 St Theatre in New York in September 2004, prior to an extensive international tour. Edinburgh 2004 productions include How To Act Around Cops, Damaged by Miracles and Pig Iron in FLOP (all at the Pleasance Courtyard).

The company undertakes a variety of contracts and consultancies ranging from full-scale theatre productions to general management, tour booking and publicity. Louise was recently awarded a second New Producer's Bursary from the Theatre Investment Fund at the Society of London Theatre. She is also Associate Producer at Pentabus Theatre.
